The Okavango is a natural wonder – an inland delta formed by rivers flowing from the highlands of Angola to create an oasis for thousands of different species of mammals, fishes, reptiles, birds, and plants. The Kalahari is one of the oldest deserts in the world, predating even the dinosaurs that walked across it. It is still a place of stark beauty, wide skies, silence, and a wealth of wildlife.
From our beautiful and comfortable base camp, you can undertake a number of different adventures. With us, you can embark on walks through the African bush, explore the many lagoons and channels of the Okavango by boat, cross the wide open spaces of salt pans by quad bike, catch sight of a myriad of bird species, and take game drives during the day and at night to see our wonderful variety of animal life. In addition, you can experience the rich culture of the people living in these areas, and even use a traditional donkey cart to traverse the Kalahari and sleep under the stars in simple fly camps.
